After some 25 years in the business, we have heard a lot of What I really want in a website.
Things like:
- Be able to change the text and photos on my website - personally...
(Yes, you can do this with Wordpress, if you can live with the liabilities and limitations...) - Sell oddball stuff like gold chains or decorator fabrics - by the foot or yard...
- Be able to upload files to a website for visitors to download - anytime I need to...
- Be able to put new photos into my gallery (or web page) - any time I want to...
- Keep my existing email address, and have all the website’s email forwarded to it...
- Have more than one website - without having to pay for separate web hosting...
- Get a customized form on my website setup to my specifications; not some generic wannabe...
- Put videos on my website without having to use/promote YouTube...
(Side note: Yep, we do that and can even capture YouTube videos and strip their advertising out). - Have sound clips for samples of my work...
- Some way for my printed materials to reference my website without someone having to type in a website address...
- A website that won’t lock me into the so-called "latest and greatest" and can grow as my business does...
- (Similar to above) A website whose appearance can be changed every couple of years or so - without having to redo all the text...
Any of that sound familiar?
Yeah, we do all that - and more.
Just be aware that while a lot of the items above are "standard," some options are going to cost you some cash (like custom photo galleries, audio/video clip processing, custom online form data processing, etc.) And just for the record: You might want to give some serious thought to the statement What I really want... It could turn out to be a serious liability.
Just one caution: If you are wondering why something like A top-ranked site in search engines doesn’t appear in the list, there is a reason that you might find, well, disconcerting. It’s on this page. Despite that - we tend to do pretty darn good...
And if you are curious about the idea of having printed materials being able to reference a website without someone having to enter a website address, scan the following and just ask...

Don’t have a device that can scan the image? Well, click on it...
